Our shop will on occasion get a special request for the odd replacement piece or part but most of the blacksmiths shop output is for making replacement parts for locks that have not been made in over 100 years.

The oldest replica-key that we have made to date was for a chest made in the 1550's.

The lady that placed the order wanted handmade not cast. The research took a lot more time than the making of the key itself.
