Sometimes we get a request for a retrofit or replacements for locks that have not been made in over 50 years occasionally the parts are very small. The antique furniture that these locks came out of was over 100 years old there were no replacement locks that would maintain the age and look of the china cabinet so we were asked to make parts and repair what was there. This request came from another local locksmith.
